Daimler Buses to integrate ChargePoint’s fleet management system

Germany / USA – Daimler Buses GmbH (owned by Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany) has formed a strategic partnership with ChargePoint Holdings Inc, based in Campbell, California, USA aimed at integrating ChargePoint's telematics and fleet management systems with Daimler’s bus brands, Mercedes-Benz and Setra.
Daimler Buses said this collaboration enables bus fleet operators to access and manage vehicle data without the need for additional hardware. It also pointed out that this integration supports both electric and ICE-powered buses, enhancing fleet optimisation; and that the telematics solutions also provide battery data and vehicle reports for e-buses. The partnership also ensures data security and facilitates real-time data transmission for improved fleet management.
