Bollinger Motors’ B4 enters series production

Bollinger B4

USA – Bollinger Motors Inc, a subsidiary of Mullen Automotive Inc based in Oak Park, Michigan, has announced that its B4 Chassis Cab* electric truck has entered into series production at Bollinger’s facility in Livonia, Michigan. The B4 is a Class 4 medium-duty electric truck, specifically designed for the commercial fleet market. This vehicle is built on an 800-volt platform with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, providing a range of up to 185 miles (about 300 km) on a single charge. The truck is aimed at companies looking to transition their fleets to electric.

Earlier this year, Bollinger announced a raft of orders, including a deal to supply 80 of its all-electric class 4 chassis cabs amounting to USD 13.2 million to the Momentum Group, a fleet management company. Momentum said the company “will upfit the B4 chassis cab with mobile EV chargers, a box truck, flatbed, service body or stake truck.”
