Magirus unveils three new fire truck models

The Dragon X6 Neo by Magirus

GermanyMagirus GmbH of Ulm, Baden-Württemberg recently unveiled three new fire trucks: two with corrosion-resistant aluminium bodies, one with a body optimised for airport applications, and all with new driver display systems in the cab.

The ‘Dragon X6 Neo’ is Magirus’ latest truck for airport firefighting applications. It has a striking new cab and body design, and two Euro VI engines supplied by FPT (‘Cursor 13’). The total power output of the Dragon X6 Neo is 1,140 horsepower, with 5,000 Nm at 1,000 rpm. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 80 km/h in less than twenty seconds, allowing for swift deployment across the airfield.
