Solaris announces order for 96 battery electric buses from Transdev

Poland / Netherlands – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has announced that, earlier this year, it received an order for ninety-six battery electric buses from French operator Transdev, who will deploy them in the Province of Utrecht in the central Netherlands.
Solaris says it will supply Transdev with 96 of its ‘Urbino electric’ buses, although it did not specify which model lengths have been ordered. Solaris did state that Transdev opted for greater energy capacity with the ‘High Energy’ battery configuration.
