The Renault Trucks E-Tech T

FranceRenault Trucks SAS, a subsidiary of the Volvo Group based in Saint-Priest, France, has announced that, in mid-2025, it will open orders for a variation of its ‘E-Tech T’ battery electric truck which will boast an extended range of up to 600 kilometres on a single charge.

The new extended-range E-Tech T will offer an energy storage capacity of 800 kWh, a significant expansion on the maximum capacity of 540 kWh which is offered with the current version of the truck. Renault Trucks has achieved this by adding more battery packs in the space freed up by the introduction of an electric axle, which replaces the central drive unit.
