Einride and PepsiCo deploy five e-trucks across Memphis

USA / Sweden – Einride AB*, a freight mobility company that provides digital, electric and autonomous technology, has partnered with American multinational drinks company PepsiCo, to provide a fleet of five digitally optimised electric heavy-duty trucks on its distribution routes in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. Electrifying its distribution network is part of PepsiCo’s decarbonisation strategy. The fleet of five Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 trucks have been equipped with Einride Saga** driving software. The vehicles are projected to transport over 2,500 loads annually, covering nearly 200,000 miles and reducing approximately 143 metric tons of CO2 emissions per year. Einride is growing its customer base in other territories including Europe and the Middle East.
