The Fiat E-Ducato production line at Atessa, Italy

Netherlands / ItalyStellantis NV, an automotive corporation based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has announced that production of the facelifted ‘E-Ducato’ battery electric vans, sold with a Fiat badge, has begun at its facility in Atessa, Italy.

The first E-Ducato model was launched in 2021. Ducato gliders were assembled at Atessa and then shipped to the Mirafiori factory in Turin for installation of the electric powertrain. Now, the whole vehicle will be produced entirely on the line at Atessa, which Stellantis said marked a “historic moment” for the facility and “a significant step in sustainable commercial vehicle manufacturing”.
