Continental to build its first fully owned distribution centre in the USA

USA / Germany – Through its American subsidiary Continental Tire the Americas LLC based in Fort Mill, Southern Carolina, German multinational Continental AG headquartered in Hanover, announced that it is set to build its first fully owned tyre distribution centre in the USA to better service its North American customers. Expected to begin operation in 2026, the 753,000 square foot Dallas-Fort-Worth-Metroplex has the capacity to store 800,000 tyres. Designed for future expansion, the new distribution centre could reach 1,255,000 square feet should demand increase. According to Continental, the facility will utilise advanced automation technology and sustainability features such as solar panels.
