Thomas Klein, head of Mercedes-Benz Vans

Germany – Mercedes-Benz Group AG of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg has appointed Thomas Klein as head of the group’s van business, effective from 1 March.

Klein started his career with Mercedes-Benz Vans in 1999, when the group was still known as ‘DaimlerChrysler’. Initially working at the plant in Düsseldorf, Klein moved into marketing and represented the group in the Middle East, South Africa, and South Korea. His current roles include vice president of sales planning and product management for Mercedes-Benz Cars and head of the Integrated Production Program in Stuttgart.
