NFI appoints new chairman and board directors

Chan Galbato, Chairman of NFI Group
Canada – NFI Group Inc of Winnipeg, Manitoba – the parent of several bus and coach brands, including New Flyer, Motor Coach Industries, ARBOC and Alexander Dennis – has announced three new appointments to its board of directors, including Chan Galbato, who will replace Wendy Kei as chairman of the board.
Galbato joins the group from Cerberus Capital Management, where he served as the CEO of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company LLC. He was Executive Chair of Blue Bird Corporation, a bus manufacturer and portfolio company of Cerberus (which owns over 50% of its shares).
