Daimler completes 95 eCitaro bus delivery to Hamburg

Netherlands / Germany – Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg has completed the delivery of  95 Mercedes-Benz eCitaro buses to the Hamburg metropolitan region. These buses have been integrated into the fleet of Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein (VHH), a major public transport operator in the area. The deliveries first began in spring 2023 and were completed by December 2024. The German public transport operator ordered a mixture of three-door solo buses and four-door eCitaro G articulated buses. Furthermore, Daimler announced that 350 more units had been ordered by the other operator managing Hamburg’s network, Hochbahn. Daimler Buses continues to grow its market presence on its home turf.
