Christian Levin to chair ACEA’s Commercial Vehicles Board in 2025

Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania and Chairperson of ACEA

Belgium – Christian Levin, President and CEO of Traton and Scania, has been elected as the Chairperson of the Commercial Vehicle Board of the Brussels-based European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) for 2025. Levin takes over the function from Harald Seidel, President of DAF Trucks. Levin will work closely with ACEA President Ola Källenius (Mercedes-Benz Group AG chairman) who is serving in his first term. Levin's election reflects his leadership role within the European truck and bus industry, which is currently undergoing a significant transformation towards zero-emission powertrains, including battery-electric and hydrogen-powered models. ACEA will work with various industry stakeholders, including manufacturers and policymakers to develop supportive policy initiatives that help decarbonise the industry whilst maintaining the competitiveness of Europe’s truck industry.
