Forsee Power to electrify Otokar’s e-TERRITO coaches

France / Turkey – Forsee Power SAS* of Paris, France, has signed a deal with another Turkish bus OEM, Otokar Otomotiv ve Savunma Sanayi AŞ (“Otokar”) of Sakarya, to electrify its 12 and 13-metre e-TERRITO coaches with its ZEN LFP batteries. These batteries will be ZEN LFP manufactured in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou in France and shipped to Turkey where the coach manufacturing is set to take place. This follows similar news of Forsee supplying its ZEN PLUS and PULSE 15 battery systems for Turkish bus OEM Bozankaya’s12 and 18-metre trolleybus models.
According to Forsee Power, these batteries are capable of delivering 400kms on a single charge with a recharging time of 4 hours. The ZEN LFP batteries are available in two formats, 36 kWh and 55 kWh, offering “excellent energy density of 240 Wh/L, combined, and a lifespan of up to 6,000 cycles ensuring a very low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)”.
