Forsee Power launches new generation battery for CVs

Forsee Pulse Plus

France Forsee Power SAS* of Paris, France, has launched its next-generation battery (Pulse Plus) for heavy-duty CV transport applications which will be manufactured across Forsee’s factories in the USA, Europe and Asia in order to reduce delivery times. With a lifespan of 20 years, the 26 kWh battery utilises Yoshiba LTO cells and delivers double the power of the previous generation (Pulse 15) with a peak output of 400lW for ten seconds. Certified for commercial vehicle (buses and trucks) use, the company believes this new product will help Forsee enter new e-mobility markets (mining, construction and agriculture) and grow market share in existing territories, in particular in North America. Forsee is currently collaborating with Ballard to integrate its Pulse Plus into hydrogen-electric vehicle systems.

The Pulse Plus is compliant with all major industrial standards including “ISO 12405-2, ISO 6469-1, ISO 62619, IEC 60664, UN38.3 and the latest R10-6 and R100-3 approvals and UL and SAE standards, guaranteeing its reliability and safety.”
