Tractor sales decline 3.1% in Q3 FY 2024-25

India - Tractor sales saw a decline of 3.1% in the third quarter of FY 2024-25, totalling 16,490 units compared with 17,025 units during the same period in FY 2023-24. Tractor production also experienced a slight decrease of 0.3%, falling from 17,033 units to 16,980 units.

In the light-weight tractor segment (26.4 tons < GVW ≤ 40 tons), sales surged by 161%, reaching 2,046 units in Q3 of FY 2024-25, up from 784 units in Q3 of FY 2023-24. Production increased by 50.2% from 881 to 1,323 units.
