Range Energy appoints Jon Foster as CEO

USA – Range Energy Inc, a trailer electrification company based in Mountain View, California, has appointed Jon Foster as CEO, replacing founder Ali Javidan.

Foster joins the startup firm from a senior advisor role at consultancy McKinsey & Company. Between 2016 and 2020, he was Chief Financial Officer of Zoox, the robotaxi subsidiary of Amazon. Earlier in his career, Foster worked for the Federal Highway Administration and as deputy director of science and technology policy at the White House; Range intends to profit from his “deep understanding of public policy and government relations” as it tests and validates its trailer technology.
