Solaris receives order for up to 512 trolleybuses from Vancouver’s transport authority

Poland / Canada – Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o. of Bolechowo, Poland has signed its first contract with a Canadian customer, concerning an order for up to 512 trolleybuses destined for Vancouver, British Columbia.
The contract, signed by TransLink, the statutory authority responsible for public transportation in the Vancouver metropolitan area, stipulates a firm order of 107 12-metre trolleybuses (‘Trollino 12’). It provides further options for up to 201 more 12-metre models and up to 204 ‘Trollino 18’ articulated models.
