Stellantis to build mid- and large-size vans for Iveco

Italy / NetherlandsIveco SpA of Turin, Italy has signed a deal with automotive corporation Stellantis NV, agreeing to distribute mid-size and large electric vans built at Stellantis plants under the Iveco brand.

Stellantis will develop two vans based on its electric platform, used for its own electric LCV ranges (Fiat, Opel, Peugeot, etc.), and produce them at its plants in Atessa (Italy), Gliwice (Poland), and Hordain (France). These will subsequently be marketed and distributed by Iveco through its European sales network. The two van ranges, which will bear the Iveco badge, will have gross vehicle weight ratings between 2.8-3.1 tons and 3.5-4.25 tons respectively.
