Webasto appoints Jörg Buchheim as CEO and chairman

Germany – Webasto SE, a supplier of roof systems, HVAC, and battery packs based in Stockdorf, Bavaria, has announced the appointment of Jörg Buchheim as CEO and chairman of the management board, effective from 17 March.

Buchheim joins the company from parts firm Kongsberg Automotive, where he has served as group CEO and global president since 2021. He has worked for nearly thirty years in the industry in companies such as Hella and Inalfa Roof Systems in various project and business management roles. According to Webasto, Buchheim implemented a “comprehensive transformation program” at Kongsberg to turn its fortunes around and increase its order intake.
