Hyundai develops AI-based logistics platform with Sendy

Hyundai’s ST1 van to be equipped with Sendy AI logistics platform

South Korea - Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea’s largest vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Seoul, has joined forces with local Busan-based cargo logistics platform operator, Sendy.ai, to develop an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven logistics platform to help improve the efficiency of last-mile urban delivery operations.

The systems will be used initially in Hyundai’s battery-powered ST1 (Service Type 1), a light van launched last year powered by SK On batteries. Hyundai has agreed to provide essential vehicle data and technical support to ensure smooth operation of the AI system.
