ZF sells OptiLock trailer security range to Imbema

Germany / Netherlands – ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a vehicle systems supplier based in Friedrichshafen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, has announced the sale of its ‘OptiLock’ line of trailer security products to Dutch company Imbema Holland BV for an undisclosed sum.
The OptiLock range has been produced by ZF’s commercial vehicle division since 2016. The portfolio of trailer security products includes electronic container locks, manual trailer locks, and kingpin and swap body locks. However, the ZF group has decided that, due to “shifting market priorities”, selling OptiLock to another company “would be the best way to ensure continued service and innovation for customers”.
