MAN hands over first heavy electric truck to French customer

MAN eTGX in Jacky Perrenot livery

Germany / FranceMAN Truck & Bus SE, a subsidiary of Traton based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, has delivered its first heavy-duty battery electric truck to a customer in France, which will be followed by up to one hundred more over the following years.

The ‘eTGX’ truck was handed over to logistics group Jacky Perrenot of Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse earlier in April at MAN’s service centre in Lyon. It is the first of a 100-strong contract, including firm orders for 35 tractor units and 5 chassis-cabs and an option for 60 more eTGX and ‘eTGS’ vehicles.
