Custom Denning selects Forsee Power to supply batteries for e-bus

Element 2 e-bus

Australia / France – Bus builder Custom Bus Group Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of the Dunn Group (formerly “Yourbus”) based in St Marys, New South Wales, Australia, and trading under the name “Custom Denning,” has selected French battery manufacturer Forsee Power SAS* of Paris, to supply e-batteries for its Element 2 e-bus. These 12-metre electric city buses will be built in New South Wales and feature a stainless steel chassis and aluminium side panels. 

Powering the Element 2 is a 300 kW ZF CeTrax electric motor delivering 4,500 Nm of torque, matched with a modular NMC battery system (Forsee Power) offering up to 456 kWh capacity. The bus seats 41, has 28 standing passengers, supports CCS2 charging and offers pantograph options.
