Daimler Buses acquires 49% stake in German software company Sinos

Sinos software

Germany – Daimler Buses GmbH (owned by Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany) has acquired a 49% stake in Sinos GmbH*, a German software company specialising in fleet management and intelligent charging solutions. The strategic investment is designed to strengthen Daimler Buses' capabilities in delivering integrated e-mobility services to its global customer base.

Daimler Buses and Sinos have been collaborating since 2022, with Sinos providing its proprietary software to support Daimler’s fleet electrification efforts. This acquisition formalises that relationship, enabling Daimler Buses to offer its customers customised, long-term digital solutions for electric fleet operations.
