Rivian deploys 70 electric vans with first customer since ending Amazon exclusivity

Rivian Electric Delivery Van in Factor livery

USARivian Automotive Inc of Irvine, California announced that it has deployed 70 battery electric vans in the fleet of food delivery company HelloFresh SE, its first major customer since it ended its exclusivity contract with Amazon.

Seventy units from Rivian’s ‘Electric Delivery Van’ range have been incorporated into the German company’s American fleet, making up nearly a quarter of its total fleet. The vans – decorated in the livery of a brand (‘Factor’) acquired by HelloFresh a couple of years ago – are used to deliver meal kits to home addresses.
