Brazil / Germany / USA – Goodyear do Brasil Produtos de Borracha Ltda of São Paulo (a subsidiary of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio) has signed an agreement with ZF do Brazil Ltda of Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil to offer combined solutions for fleet and tyre management for passenger cars, commercial and industrial vehicles. This agreement effectively extends the two companies’ agreement signed in Europe two years ago; this collaboration is expected to improve the service life of a tyre by approximately 13%, as well provide data on tyre temperature and tyre pressure conditions uninterruptedly in real time.

The partnership will use ZF’s Scalar EVO Pulse advanced fleet management solutions equipment. This is a technology capable of gathering data on transportation operations uninterruptedly and sending it in real time to the Goodyear Mobility Cloud, an information portal that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from where the data will be monitored and alerts sent to fleet owners.
