Kia PV5 van makes UK debut at CV Show

PV5

UK / South Korea - Kia Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, unveiled its all-electric PV5 van at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham (April 29 – May 1st 2025) at the NEC. This marks the brand's first foray into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) sector, introducing its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) strategy to the UK audience. The PV5 will be manufactured at Kia's newly constructed Hwaseong EVO plant in South Korea.

We spoke to representatives of Kia at the show who told us that the order book will be open next month and that the first vehicles are expected to arrive on UK shores by the end of the year. The company announced that the van will start at GBP 27,645 + VAT with a GBP 5,000 subsidy through the Plug-in Van Grant.
