Kia to supply electric vans to DHL Korea

Kia signs supply agreement with DHL Korea

South Korea - Kia Corporation, headquartered in Seoul, this month signed an agreement to supply battery-powered delivery vans to DHL Korea Ltd, the local unit of German logistics giant DH Group.

Kia confirmed the vans are to be based on its Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV), which it originally referred to as purpose-built vehicles. A unit of Hyundai Motor Group, Kia is currently building a new plant in South Korea’s Gyeonggi province dedicated to the production of battery-powered PBVs of various sizes and specifications.
