ACT Expo 2025: Symbio to develop fuel cell truck with Savage

USA – At the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo, held between 28 April and 1 May in Anaheim, California, French fuel cell manufacturer Symbio announced a partnership with drayage fleet Savage to develop a hydrogen-powered heavy truck.

The two companies announced they would work together to develop a 4x2 prototype with a fuel cell driveline supplied by Symbio. Based on a Mack ‘Anthem’ chassis, the truck will have a total power output of 300 kilowatts and a storage capacity of 34 kilograms of hydrogen, with ‘70MPa XL-Tanks’ produced by Symbio shareholder Forvia.
