USA – Earlier in May, Bollinger Motors Inc, a manufacturer of Class 4 battery electric trucks based in Oak Park, Michigan, was put into receivership following an order from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, according to a report from The Detroit News.

According to the report, Bollinger has struggled to make payments on its loans to various creditors, including a $10m loan from company founder Robert Bollinger, since the beginning of the year. Production at the Roush Enterprises facility in Livonia came to a standstill and Bollinger has been locked out after missing multiple rent payments. In March, Mr Bollinger filed a legal complaint against the company, who alleged a breach of contract related to the loan.
