Steady tractor sales continue into the fourth quarter of 2024/25

India - Tractor sales grew by 4.8% during the fourth quarter of FY 2024/25 (January to March) to register 21,021 units compared with 20,061 units in the same quarter of the previous year (FY 2023/24). Tractor production decreased by 3.8% overall from 19,894 units to 20,658 units and export sales increased by 169.1%.

The light-weight tractor (26.4 tons < GVW ≤ 40 tons) segment unveiled an increase in sales of 89.9% to 3,873 units in the Q4 of FY 2024/25 from 2,039 units in the Q4 of FY 2022/23. Exports too saw sales rise by 76.9% and production increased by 297.7% from 963 to 3,830 units.
