France / CanadaForsee Power SAS* of Paris, France, has signed a deal to supply its Zen 8 Slim batteries to Westward Industries Ltd**, a Canadian manufacturer of compact utility vehicles. The 48V battery packs, manufactured in Hilliard, Ohio, will be used in Westward’s MAX-EV lineup. Battery configurations will range from one to four per vehicle, depending on customer requirements. Forsee claims that a configuration of three battery packs provides a range of 200 km on a single charge.

For Forsee Power, the partnership expands its footprint in the North American market, aligning with its strategy to invest in its North American operations in order to provide localised production for its customers.
