New Flyer to deliver 132 hybrid and electric buses to Long Island

USA – New Flyer of America Inc of Crookston, Minnesota has received an order for 132 buses from Suffolk County Transit, comprising a mix of hybrid and battery electric vehicles.
92 ‘Xcelsior’ 35-foot hybrid buses and 40 ‘Xcelsior Charge NG’ 40-foot buses will enter operation in Suffolk County in the state of New York. These will be delivered over the next five years.
