Germany – Munich-based retrofitter Keyou GmbH* has partnered with GP Joule, a renewable energy company from Schleswig-Holstein, to deliver a complete hydrogen mobility solution for commercial vehicles. Under the agreement, Keyou will supply 40-tonne trucks with hydrogen internal combustion engines, while GP Joule** provides green hydrogen and operates refuelling stations.

The partnership supports Keyou’s “H2 Mobility as a Service” model, which offers customers retrofitted trucks with fuel, maintenance, and insurance under a single contract. GP Joule’s existing hydrogen filling stations in Nordfriesland and Bremerhaven, alongside planned sites in Kiel and Waiblingen, will ensure reliable fuelling infrastructure for early adopters. Keyou has already delivered an 18-tonne pilot truck to logistics firm EP Trans, with the full 40-tonne rollout expected in 2026.
