The truck conversion is based on a Mercedes Benz Actros chassis (4x2), equipped with a 7.8-litre Deutz six-cylinder in-line diesel (converted to run on hydrogen) engine with an output of 210 kW (281 hp) providing a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. The truck is fitted with an Allison 3000 Series TM fully automatic transmission.
The Volvo semi-trailer truck on display featured a 13-litre hydrogen engine, developed collaboratively with Volvo as part of the HyCET project, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV).
The 12-metre bus is fitted with a diesel engine which Keyou has converted to run on hydrogen and a “mild-hybrid” transmission with energy recuperation capabilities.
