Steady growth in output of truck and bus chassis across nearly all segments in Brazil

Brazil – Truck production figures in Brazil rose by 3.1% to 66,371 (64,391) and bus and coach chassis production rose by 7.3% to 15,742 (14,668), according to figures collated and published by ANFAVEA.
The bulk of the truck segment gains were in the semi-heavy-duty segment, up 30% at 19,991 (13,331) and in the medium-duty segment (3,440). The largest segment the tractor unit segment declined in the first half of the year by 13% to 33,758 units from 38,785.
