Sales of trailers and truck bodies in Brazil fell by 4.2% in the first half of 2025

Brazil – Sales of road implements (trailers and truck bodies) in Brazil fell by 4.2% to 72,183 units in the first half of 2025 compared with 75,351 units in the same period of 2024, according to data from the National Association of Road Implement Manufacturers (ANFIR) based in São Paulo.

While trailer sales decreased by almost 20% from 44,664 to 35,831 units, the body on truck chassis segment went the other way, increasing by 18.5% to 36,352 units (30,687). In fact, truck body sales in the first half of the year outperformed heavy-duty trailer sales.
