Stellantis begins series production of electric box van

Fiat e-Ducato with 'CustomFit' box van body installed at the Atessa plant

Italy – Automotive corporation Stellantis NV of Amsterdam, Netherlands has launched the production of box van-bodied light-duty trucks at its plant in Atessa, Italy, based on the electric platform which entered series production last year.

“Cargo Box” bodies, installed on a light commercial vehicle chassis powered by a battery electric driveline, are now being built in series in a dedicated “body shop” in the Atessa plant. These box van bodies offer a cargo volume of 18.3 cubic metres and can be fitted on Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, and Vauxhall / Opel models.
