Argentina – The Argentinian medium to heavy commercial vehicle market experienced its best performance in a decade, according to figures released by trade body, Siomma SA of Buenos Aires. For the first time in over 10 years, registrations of commercial vehicles exceeded 10,000 vehicles in the first six months of the year, totalling 11,308 units, a 99.1% increase over the 5,679 vehicles sold in the same period in 2024.

The best half years during the last decade until now, were 2022, 2021, and 2018, with registrations of 7,719, 7,536, and 7,627 units, respectively. In 2025, the improving economy and falling interest rates have allowed for greater and more effective fleet renewal. Throughout this year, commercial vehicle sales were higher every month than in the previous year.
