Germany Daimler Truck AG of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Baden-Württemberg, has expanded its Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle centre in Würzburg with a new 250-square-metre workshop hall. The facility is now equipped to service battery-electric and hydrogen models, including the eActros 600, eEconic, FUSO eCanter, and Mercedes-Benz eCitaro.

The upgrade includes high-voltage workstations, a ceiling-mounted crane, and a height-adjustable roof platform for safe handling of rooftop battery packs. Around 90 employees work at the site, which becomes Daimler Truck’s third fully electrified service hub in Germany, alongside Haan and Stuttgart-Feuerbach.
