New Flyer receives follow-up order for 124 electric buses from Ottawa

Canada – New Flyer Industries Canada ULC of Winnipeg, Manitoba has received an order for 124 battery electric buses, set to be delivered to the city of Ottawa starting next year.
OC Transpo, the public transport agency for the Canadian capital of Ottawa, has ordered 124 ‘Xcelsior Charge NG’ 40-foot buses. These were provided as options in an agreement signed with the Toronto Transit Commission in 2022, allowing for up to 600 buses to be ordered by transport operators in the province of Ontario.
