Goodyear tyre management now integrated in Schmitz trailer telematics

Germany / USA – Schmitz Cargobull AG of Horstmar, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany has announced that its trailer telematics has been integrated with tyre management software developed by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio, USA.
Schmitz customers who use ‘TrailerConnect’ to monitor their trailers can now access Goodyear’s ‘TPMS Connect’ software without needing to install any additional hardware. Goodyear’s tyre management programme is compatible with Schmitz communication and tyre pressure management systems and can be accessed via the data management centre on the TrailerConnect platform.
