Volvo announces order for 264 new VNL trucks

USA – Volvo Group North America Inc of Greensboro, North Carolina received a major truck order in late August, announcing that 264 diesel Class 8s will be delivered to Averitt Express.
The 264-strong order for Volvo’s new ‘VNL’, unveiled in 2024, is one of the largest single orders the company has received for the model to date. “This order from Averitt Express is a strong vote of confidence in the all-new Volvo VNL and in our long-standing relationship,” commented Peter Voorhoeve, president of Volvo Trucks North America.
