Tatung is targeting both the EV "software and hardware" segments and will provide complete powertrain solutions to its clients, according to a statement made at an electro-mobility trade show held in Taipei in October.

In March, Tatung signed a contract to supply electric drive systems to local commercial vehicle manufacturer, Tangeng Advanced Vehicles.
