Daimler Buses and Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam launch two coach models for long distance passenger  transport on the Vietnamese market.

Mercedes-Benz do Brazil to supply THACO with CKD bus chassis for assembly in Vietnam following agreement between Daimler Buses and Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as its official partner for bus chassis assembly, bus sales and distribution in Vietnam.
