Nikola, OGE and Iveco announce intent to accelerate deployment of hydrogen infrastructure

USA / Germany / Italy – Phoenix-based battery and hydrogen fuel cell (HFC) electric truck builder, Nikola Corporation, together with Iveco SpA of Turin (part of CNH Industrial NV), Italy and Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) of Essen, Germany, an owner/operator of 12,000km of natural gas pipeline in Germany with multiple projects involving hydrogen production and infrastructure, have announced a cooperation to establish a Germany-wide, publicly accessible hydrogen network.

The three companies have signed a letter of intent for collaboration to establish a business structure for transporting hydrogen via pipeline network from production sources to hydrogen fuelling stations in support of fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
