Krone and Trailer Dynamics announce strategic partnership

Germany – Krone Commerical Vehicle Group of Werlte, and Trailer Dynamics GmbH of Aachen, have announced a strategic partnership with the goal of developing an electrified trailer.

Following from Krone’s unveiling of its eMega Liner prototype during the Krone Executive Logistics Summit in September, which achieved the targeted diesel and carbon dioxide emissions reduction of 20%, the company is seeking to further develop the concept into a model ready for series production. The eMega Liner featured a powerful e-axle developed by Trailer Dynamics to power the rear wheels while also regenerating energy through braking.
