Peru CV sales rise 9.7% in the first half of 2022 – rigid truck sales up 5.1%, tractor sales up 4.8% and bus sales up 48.9%

Peru – Latest figures from the Associação Automotriz del Perú (AAP) shows that sales of commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) grew by 9.7% overall to total 9,263 units sold in the first six months of the year (January to June 2022) compared with 8,449 units in the same period in 2021.

Truck and tractor-truck sales grew by 5.1%, with an accumulated total of 7,951 units, against 7,568 units last year. Rigid truck sales also rose by 5.1% to 6,545 units, up from 6,226 units, and tractor trucks up by 4.8% to 1,406 from 1,342.
