LG to supply batteries for Isuzu electric trucks

South Korea / Japan - LG Energy Solution Ltd (LGES) Seoul, South Korea, has announced it has agreed to supply traction (EV) batteries to Isuzu Motors Ltd of Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan in a multi-year deal worth an estimated KRW1trn (USD765m).

South Korea’s largest EV battery manufacturer confirmed it has agreed to supply cylindrical batteries for the electrification of Isuzu trucks, starting with a four-year deal to supply the Japanese-made Elf medium-duty (3.5-8 ton gvw) truck from 2023.
