Isuzu to source batteries for its electric trucks from LGES.

LG Energy Solution Ltd is to supply 200,000 battery cell modules over a three-year period to Impact Clean Power Technology (ICPT) for heavy-duty battery systems in commercial vehicles and other transportation vehicles.

The battery cells are to be sourced from LG Energy Solution to make battery modules and packs for TDCV starting in the first half of 2025.

The site will be located in Queen Creek, on the outskirts of the Phoenix metropolitan area, with production set to begin in 2025 at a capacity of 27 GWh per year.

LGES is one of the leading global battery cell suppliers.

This news follows presidential instructions for Indonesian cities to reduce emissions from transport.
